Job Title: Network Engineer with Cisco Experience Location: Remote Position Duration: 6+ months Eligibility: USC Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in Cisco technologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment, primarily from Cisco. Perform network troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Implement and manage security measures, including access control, VPNs, and firewalls. Collaborate with other IT professionals and departments to ensure seamless integration of network solutions. Document network designs, configurations, processes, and procedures. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, particularly related to Cisco products and solutions. Provide technical support and training to end-users and other IT staff. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network emergencies as needed. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications and experience may substitute for formal education. Experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience in network engineering, with a significant focus on Cisco technologies. Certifications: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) required. CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or other advanced Cisco certifications are highly desirable. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Cisco network hardware and software.
