Mobile Field Test Engineer San Jose, CA (Onsite) Contract Role Client Google Rate $50/hr on C2C (All-inclusive) USC/GC Job Description: Please Note: Mandatory Ready for 100% field work and require valid Driving license. Ability to drive and conduct field tests, including static and mobility scenarios (experience preferred Responsibilities: Must be familiar with defining and running test cases to measure user experience on mobile devices for scenarios like calling, data etc. Must be familiar with Android (including adb) and iOS. It is good to have familiarity with test equipment HW and SW- Spirent Umetrix Voice & Data. Basic understanding of 4G and 5G technologies. Data Collection: Proficiency in collecting device logs, including modem logs. Cellular Network Testing: Experience performing Calls, Mobile Data, and Battery Performance testing and design validation, system testing, coexistence testing, & debugging cellular issues (root cause analysis Network Technologies (Preferred): Familiarity with LTE, CDMA, Bluetooth, and WiFi protocols. Device Testing Tools: Strong experience with mobile device testing tools (e.g., QXDM, Bugzilla, Spirent, Anritsu, callbox, network emulators, etc is an added advantage. Test Types: Experience with regression, sanity, and connectivity testing. Android Debug Bridge (ADB): Knowledge of ADB commands for device interaction. Agile Development: Understanding of Agile methodology and software release cycles. Learning Agility: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Protocol & Call Flows: Experience with protocol specifications and call flow analysis.
