Job Description: Senior Project Manager will support projects specific to and lead by the Chief Technology Officers group. Only candidates currently located within the State of IN will be considered for this position.The IOT CTO group includes Enterprise Architecture, Centralized Application Services, IN.gov, and Strategic Engagement.Types of projects this team member will be expected to support include: Camera modernization project Multi-disciplinary projects that span teams with the CTOs office and other parts of IOT Proof of Concept (POC) and pilot projects for emergent technological solutions Technical upgrades that are not fully covered by other IOT teamsAnticipated benefits include: Increase speed-to-delivery for projects, with adherence to budget and requirements standards Ensure that projects have defined goals and expectations and that project deliverables execute to the state goals and expectations Reduce surprises by identifying potential risks and issues at an early project stage and continue to refresh throughout project execution Increase communication, relationships and alignment with IOT internal teams and the occasional external State partner Maintain constant focus on projects visions and objectivesGeneral Responsibilities: Responsible for relationship management, project planning, resource management, tactical execution, and the creation and / or oversight of final project deliverables Collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, and the team to meet business objectives and provide professional leadership & mentorship fostering respect and trust to inspire others to pursue excellence. Review, revise, and implement policies, practices, standards, and tools that support CTO project efforts Work directly with senior managers and staff supporting all facets of IOTs service delivery Manage staff and teams, as needed Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Experience as a strategic planner, program / portfolio manager, or project manager Required 15 Years PMP Certified Required Experience with technology projects using various development methodologies, including agile and waterfall SDLCs Required 15 Years Extensive experience overseeing multiple projects to successful conclusion Required 15 Years Experience managing projects of relative high complexity and dollar value Required 15 Years Experience developing, monitoring, and maintaining project plans Required 15 Years Ability to maintain tact, diplomacy, and mindfulness in engagement with highly visible and highly demanding stakeholders at a variety of levels Required Creative, Strategic team player Required Ability to handle multiple high-visibility, high-priority initiatives effectively, independently, and under competing constraints Required Exceptional professional presence, including the strong ability to communicate publicly to a variety of audiences Required Ability to establish and manage project budget with the understanding of all financial implications/issues Required Coordinate and monitor activities of all stakeholders to ensure timelines and budgets are met Required Ability to delegate work, set clear direction, and manage workflow Required Ability to effectively give feedback, provide guidance or corrective action, coach, and develop employee skillsets Required Degree in information technology, business, finance, or a related field Required
