Are you interested in helping to mitigate the impact of toxic stress in the lives of children, their families and the communities where they live? Are you skilled at developing and facilitating professional development trainings for adult learning programs? Consider joining the Partnership for Resilience (P4R) team as our Resilience Southern Illinois Project Organizer.

Reporting to the Director of Programs and Initiatives, your primary responsibilities will be to:
Collaborate with the school district's Resilience Teams (teachers, administrators, union leaders, and support staff) to maintain and grow partnerships with dental, asthma, vision, medical, and behavioral health providers. Contribute to monthly Resilience Team leadership meetings and organize quarterly professional development sessions for Resilience Teams and RSI partners.
Collaborate with P4R colleagues and external partners to plan and develop professional learning experiences for P4R member districts and schools statewide. Provide facilitation and coaching support for districts and schools in alignment with action plans or agreed-upon engagement efforts.
Under the supervision of the Director of Programs and Initiatives, research, design, and pilot book studies, workshops, or smaller programmatic initiatives based on community interests and needs.
Conduct regular outreach to build awareness and increase member participation and engagement. Collaborate with community partners to provide holistic support to district members and families.
Maintain updated statistics about member involvement in RSI using our online database and evaluation methods. Measure and track programmatic evaluation outcomes and impact.

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications and skills:

A minimum of five years of experience working with schools, families, and communities, preferably with experience in rural schools or settings.
A Baccalaureate Degree in a related field (public health, public policy, social work, education) is preferred.
Demonstrated success and ability to build relationships and manage partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge and awareness of ACEs, resilience, school climate, SEL, and school mental health frameworks.
Experience with data collection and management, compiling and reporting data.
Experience developing and facilitating professional development trainings including the ability to use adult learning theories and principles when coaching school-based professionals.
Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively in oral and written forms to a broad range of audiences.
Strong interpersonal, public speaking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel to regional meetings
Spanish language ability is a plus.
