Tasks:

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and other expenses.
• Maintain financial records and use manual and electronic bookkeeping systems to create, maintain, and balance various accounts.
• Create financial statements by posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, creating trial balances, maintaining general ledgers, and so on.
• Prepare tax returns and perform bookkeeping services.
• Forms for workers' compensation, pension contributions, and other government forms should be completed and submitted.

Job Requirements

Languages: English
Education: Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field or courses in accounting or bookkeeping.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience as an accounting or financial clerk.
