Job Duties:

•Conducting Private Pliot License (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training of crewmembers in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company approved procedures;
•Acting as a liaison between simulator vendor and Silver Airways;
•Assisting the Director of Flight Operations in creating and maintaining currency and revision status of all training manuals and training forms;
•Assisting the Director of Flight Operations in creating and maintaining all ground school curricula and presentations to reflect current policies and procedures;
•Creating lesson plans and training syllabi;
•Maintaining and keeping current relevant learning aids and equipment;
•Creating, updating and maintaining the crewmember portion of the Learning Management System, including user and course management and digital content creation;
•Teaching ground school courses;
•Completing all training forms as appropriate in connection with each segment of training taught;
•Keeping Director of Flight Operations abreast of any known inadequacies or ambiguities in the training program
•Assisting Director of Flight Operations Training in any task assigned; and
•Performing other duties as assigned by the VP of Flight Operations or the Director of Flight Operations Training.

Job Requirements:

•Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or a related education field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related role providing Instrument Rating (IR), Commercial Pilot License (CPL), and Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training; and
•Valid Flight Instructor and Ground Instructor licenses required.
