Oliver Wyman is looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our ITS Team in London or Munich
The Opportunity:
Are you a technology-driven professional with a passion for agile methodologies and enterprise systems? Oliver Wyman Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our Information Technology Services Business Systems team.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a focused, team-oriented support and development role, implementing requirements and performing maintenance activities for our bespoke project pipeline management system.
Please Note: Oliver Wyman/MMC operates a hybrid working policy and we will require the successful candidate to work from our London Baker Street office at least 60% of the time.
Key Responsibilities will include :
Planning and Development:
Developing comprehensive project roadmaps.
Gathering and defining detailed requirements.
Creating and managing development tickets for each sprint, reflecting requested features and business/end-user needs.
Prioritizing backlog features based on value delivery.
Design, Development, and Support:
Leading the design, development, and support of internal applications, primarily in agile scrum projects.
Building deep relationships with client groups.
Leveraging existing systems and processes to ensure seamless integration.
Agile Standards:
Identifying and developing standard practices for Product Owners.
Collaborating across teams and the enterprise to gather best practices and identify opportunities for improvement.
Issue Resolution:
Work closely with end-users and ITS staff to resolve system-related issues rapidly and conclusively.
What wed love to see from you:
3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner in agile scrum projects.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, planning and executing scrum ceremonies, creating product roadmaps, and writing development tickets.
Youll hole a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field, or equivalent training/experience.
Additionally, youll:
Be a structured, analytical thinker capable of operating at multiple levels of precision and detail.
Have strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills; able to work well in a team environment.
Possess effective time management and prioritization skills.
Be a mature, organized, and creative self-starter with a professional attitude.
Show proactivity in addressing personal technical knowledge gaps.
