Process Engineering Supervisor, John Zink Company, LLC, Tulsa, OK:



Coordinate all Process Engineering (direct reports) work activities. Evaluate and make decisions on approval of burner design to provide solutions for projects. Guide and develop technical standards for company regarding Boiler Burner equipment. Develop technical training documentation for design of combustion equipment. Identify and lead new technology development projects. Write and present technical papers at conferences. Provide support to field service personnel on performance from Boiler Burner combustion equipment. Identify and develop improvements for process workflow in area of responsibility. Work with other functional team (application/sales, Project Management, Drafting/Design) managers to align groups and improve business profitability. Complete detailed design work for complex projects requiring highest level of technical expertise.



Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



Employer requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in power and steam generation combustion equipment design.



Of the required experience, must have:



• 5 years of experience with Boiler Systems for power and steam generation;

• 5 years of experience with Computational Fluid Dynamics analyses of industrial scale burners, components, and systems;

• 5 years of experience working with NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) 85 Boiler and Combustion Systems Hazards Code;

• 5 years of experience in Product Development and Testing; and

• 5 years of experience in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) programming in MS Excel.



Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.
