Lead Java Developer C2H - Remote on contract must be willing to relocate to Bentonville, AR once FT. Responsibilities: Reviewed code to figure out where things are going wrong. Needs to be able to do code reviews. If needed, write code and find optimizations in code that was written by peers. They're an Azure shop but they don't work on it. Everything they deploy goes in to it. Candidates should have solid experience in leading and architecting microservices projects using Spring boot/batch, Kafka, NoSQL databases, Kubernetes 10-15 total years, 5 years leading and architecting microservices projects Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): Java JDK 8 and 11 Spring Boot Designing of microservices Spring Batch Kafka - needs to have good understanding of how it works. Hands on experience with Kafka needed prior to moving in to this role. Kubernetes - doesn't need to have admin expertise, basic knowledge of how it works Docker they don't do custom so needs basic knowledge of how it works. Jenkins CI/CD kicks off and deploys to Kubernetes. Need to be aware of the ecosystem. Restful APIs NoSQL experience CosmosDB is what they use preferable but any NoSQL database is okay. Soft skills: even keeled person, enjoys leading, building people up, good flow of communication Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education.
