Shift Details: Approximately $30,000 in differential pay on top of base salary!

Position Details:


Hartford Hospital is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our patient-centered PACU team. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to deliver post-operative care for a variety of complex surgical patients in the PACU, including those from general surgery, trauma, neurosurgery, and more. Responsibilities include managing critically ill patients, conducting comprehensive physical assessments, interpreting diagnostic results, and maintaining hemodynamic monitoring. Enjoy an autonomous Monday-Friday role in a high-retention environment with experienced PACU APPs, a diverse patient population, and an extensive orientation curriculum.



Role: Open to Physician Assistants or Acute Care Nurse Practitioners


Location: 79 Jefferson Street, Hartford, 06102


Setting: Inpatient, PACU, Surgery


Schedule: Full-time 3x13s, nights, weekdays only. No holidays or weekends! Premium differentials offered(link removed)>

Qualifications

Requirements:



  • Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)


  • Training: Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner


  • Experience: 2+ years in a critical care or PACU setting
