Sales Analyst- CPG

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Analyst-CPG to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing daily sales operations, including reporting, forecasting, and ensuring alignment with strategic sales plans. Your responsibilities will include implementing and maintaining the Power BI system for streamlined reporting, monitoring depletion in shipment sales, and managing diverse data sources from broadline distributors, brokers, and DSDs. You will be pivotal in providing actionable insights to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with accurate and timely information to meet their goals. Location: Remote with up to 20% travel

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage daily sales reporting processes to track performance against targets.
• Implement and optimize the Power BI system to facilitate regular reporting for the sales team.
• Monitor and report on shipment sales depletion, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
• Manage and analyze reports from broadline distributors, brokers, and DSDs to provide comprehensive insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable analytical tasks.
• Proactively address day-to-day sales needs and challenges, providing data-driven recommendations.

Required Skills/Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience Sales Analysis in Food and Beverage, specifically CPG
• Proven experience in business analysis or sales operations, preferably within the distribution or FMCG sector.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
