BAYDIN INC. (BOOMERANG) SEEKS Sr Software Engineer (Job ID Z003) TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING JOB DUTIES: Partner with product manager, designer, and internal users (for internal tools) to define software requirements. Perform feasibility analysis on technical side of software requirements. Design and program software architecture based on requirements and system constraints. Communicate finalized software architecture/design to stakeholders via written (design documents) and/or spoken (review meetings) channels. Perform unit and integration testing to ensure quality of deliverables. Identify and document defects and performance bottlenecks during daily operation and propose solutions for fixes. Drive engineering team's operational excellence by recommending, determining and/or enforcing software development best practices and architecture decisions through code reviews. 100% telecommute permitted throughout US.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related field.
Experience: 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate software engineering experience.
Experience to include: (1) Python, Django, Javascript, HTML, and CSS; (2) Enterprise grade database design and maintenance; (3) Unix management, and server performance management; (4) Full-stack development; (5) Source control management; (6) Agile; (7) Working with internal and external APIs; and (8) Containerization.

Salary: $240,000 to $250,000 per year
