Title: Portfolio Manager, Global Markets

Duties: Design, research, and manage global macro (interest rates, foreign exchange, and energy) investment strategies in line with company trading program; evaluate historical and real-time strategy performance to manage portfolio risk; develop multi-factor econometric models using macro and micro-economic variables to forecast returns; apply advanced financial and economic knowledge to review buy/sell recommendations and forecast risk, return, and trading costs; synthesize data using advanced modeling to determine and apply best directional, relative value, and/or option trading strategy; continuously monitor market, sector, and geopolitical dynamics and drivers; work closely with analysts, programmers, and traders to enhance and deploy new strategies.


Requirements: Requires a master’s degree in business, economics, or operations research and four years of experience as a portfolio manager or trader. Demonstrated work experience in global markets investments including Asia emerging markets FX trading and risk and valuation of FX derivatives. Strong mathematical and financial quantitative modeling background gained through coursework or experience.

Hours: 40 hours/ week

Salary: The base pay range for this position in New York City is USD $250,000 -$300,000 per year. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Health insurance, 401(k), and performance-based bonus available.
