Job Title: Staff Security Engineer

Job Location: Seattle, Washington

Duties: Build anomalies detection and prevention systems, leveraging experience in detecting security incidents and responding to malicious actors. Analyze API security systems to build the next generation of API abuse prevention system. Analyze companywide security systems using network security, cloud security, infrastructure security, endpoint security (Splunk) to automatically detect the anomalies and build automated systems to detect such anomalies and prevent them via automation. Create companywide risk scoring models to automatically triage the vulnerabilities and provide remediation systems support. Create MITRE-based TTPs to uncover potential API security and external attack surface management attacks.



Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or Software Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus five (5) years of experience performing information security to build scalable, customizable, and deployable security product. Specific skills/other requirements -- must possess the following: Working as a Senior SOC Analyst (5 years); Developing fully functional and usable product in threat detection, threat correlation and threat prevention; Analyzing web and mobile traffic patterns, applying best practices to detect and prevent threats; and Hunting use cases based on MITRE ATT&CK, applying principles of SIEM and API Security Top 10 attack prevention Rate of Pay: $218,711.00 to $297,000.00/year.
