Performance Engineer Senior, AssureCare, LLC, Cincinnati, OH.

Ensure the company’s proprietary software product meets the customer load and performance Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Define system performance requirements. Design, develop, and execute performance tests. Design, develop and execute load, stress, breakpoint, and endurance tests. Validate performance tests using APM tools and querying databases. Manage and tag functional and non-functional defects for testing. Monitor applications under test and report on results. Track performance metrics against customer SLAs. Continuously monitor and improve system performance. May work remotely from anywhere in the United States.

Requires bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field; 60 months of experience as a Performance Engineer (or any relevant occupation) involving performance testing; 24 months of experience with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) and performance bottlenecks identification using DynaTrace or a similar tool; deep knowledge of at least one performance testing tool (e.g., LoadRunner, StresStimulus, JMeter, Neoload); strong expertise on SQL queries and at least one SQL platform (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle); understanding of and experience with continuous integration and build and release practices; and full understanding of the software development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
