Costco Wholesale Corporation is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for its Issaquah, Washington office.

Job Duties: Perform software development work across the technology stack (both front-end/back-end). Support the design of the overall architecture of a specific software product/application, applying principles that promote availability, reusability, interoperability, and security into the design framework. Perform development, optimization, and automation activities to support the implementation of a product/application. Provide development strategy, solution recommendations, and estimates for a given software product/application. Participate in scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospective, showcases/demos, stand-ups, backlog refinement, etc.). Create and execute unit tests which validate the code changes made to support the implementation of a user story. Use test driven development (TDD) practices to assist with the detection/recognition of software defects early in the development process. Identify deficiencies within a product/application’s code base and identify opportunities to improve overall code quality. Conduct peer code reviews for the software changes made by other engineers within a team. Design, build, debug, optimize, and implement service solutions in C# for applications including, but not limited to, the Order Management System. Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Plus one year of experience in: Designing and developing services based on .Net Core; C# programming language; 3-tier and micro services architecture; SQL and no-SQL database platforms; and Azure Cloud.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, plus one year of experience in: Designing and developing services based on .Net Core; C# programming language; 3-tier and micro services architecture; SQL and no-SQL database platforms; and Azure Cloud, employer accepts three years of experience in: Designing and developing services based on .Net Core; C# programming language; 3-tier and micro services architecture; SQL and no-SQL database platforms; and Azure Cloud.
