Wayfair LLC seeks Senior Manager (Multiple Positions) in Boston, MA:

Job Duties: Partner with businesses to devise solutions that promote business efficiency, identify operational patterns and trends, and solve complex business problems with customer focus. Evaluate return on investment and profit-loss projections. Apply skills to high level business and strategy operational initiatives. Analyze business challenges and recommend solutions using data driven analysis to improve operations. Drive decision making in a cross-functional setup with internal teams and own P&L and key business metrics for reporting. Work with several large and complex databases and synthesize data from multiple sources including sales, product, and customer databases to derive insights for decision-making. Collaborate cross-functionally to formulate hypotheses, develop models, and recommendations that address strategic and operational challenges. Synthesize insights and present business cases to senior leadership. Manage projects and delivery, supporting data-based decision-making by creating strategies that align with business objectives, enabling prompt business responses to industry demands. May lead cross functional teams and drive decision-making in cross-functional setup. Position is based in Boston, MA office; however, telecommuting may also be allowed. Salary: $88,774 to $183,905 (WFMA004)

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, Business Administration, Operations Research, or a directly related field plus two (2) years of experience in a managerial, analytical, operations research analysts, consulting, or related role. OR, in the alternative, will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Economics, Analytics, Business Administration, Operations Research, or a directly related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience in a managerial, analytical, operations research analysts, consulting, or related role.

Special Skill Requirements: Experience must include one (1) year of experience in at least five (5) of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
1. Microsoft Excel for conducting analysis and scalable reporting;
2. Working with large datasets to solve complex business problems or performing data analysis and issue correlation to generate reasonable deductions;
3. Using SQL, R, Python, or other analytical tools;
4. Demonstrated ability to synthesize multiple points of view into a streamlined action plan and drive consensus among cross-functional teams;
5. Statistical modeling tools including Clustering, Classification, or Regression;
6. Interacting with business and operational leaders, engineers, and product managers to gather and translate requirements into product design or experience leaded targeted initiatives, including gaining leadership support;
7. Leading or managing projects, teams, or clients or experience with transportation, supply chain, or logistics management;
8. Demonstrated ability to go from conceptual and building path down to execution;
9. Performing code reviews to ensure high code quality;
10. Product road mapping including sizing opportunities, estimating project impact, measuring success of high impact initiatives, or creating attribution models.
