Process Engineer (Fitchburg, MA): Develop a URS for supplier on tooling and equipment; Create Statement of Work for all new projects; Create a timeline for tracking tool builds &coordinate projects timelines; Assist quality & run validation protocols [IQ, OQ, PQ]; Maintain budgetary, scheduling and project database oversight & report regularly to the engg. manager; Finalize all project documentation to release into production; Develop processes in injection molding using scientific methods; Set up work cells & optimize operator efficiencies. REQS: Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and Certification of Master Molder-I; Prior exp must include: 4 yrs exp w/assisting quality & run validation protocols [IQ, OQ, PQ], going through data using mini tab & converting data into changes on the molding process; w/developing processes in injection molding using scientific methods; w/injection molding environment, troubleshooting & correcting molding defects; w/lean mfg practices; in plastics & tooling, including plastic injection molding & running mold flow simulations as part of rapid prototyping; 3 yrs exp w/CAD design software (such as Solid works & Creo 4 & 7), & Mold Flow; 2 years exp w/CFD software.
