Job Overview

We are seeking a Control Room Incharge (Power Plant) to join our team at DCS Group. As the Control Room Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the power plant's control room. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in power plant operations. The job location is Goa Velha, Goa, India. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in power plant operations
• Strong knowledge of power plant control systems and equipment
• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and mentoring abilities
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the power plant's control room
• Monitor and control all aspects of power plant operations, including equipment performance, temperature, pressure, and flow rates
• Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure proper maintenance and repair of equipment
• Analyze data from control systems to identify and resolve any issues or abnormalities
• Prepare daily reports on plant operations, including power generation, fuel consumption, and efficiency
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols
• Train and mentor junior control room operators
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in power plant technology
