TriNet USA Inc. is seeking Staff Identity & Access Management Engineer(s) for its Austin, TX office to design technical solutions for system software, hardware, performance, problem determination and resource management. Individuals will apply advanced theoretical knowledge of Information Systems and Business Management principle and concepts, as well as experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ development, to perform the duties of the position.


Job responsibilities and duties include:

Provide technical leadership related to system software, hardware, performance, problem determination and/or resource management.

Communicate and coordinate with vendors, developers, analysts, clients, stakeholders, and management.

Define high-level conceptual designs and detailed technical designs to ensure changes accurately address business requirements, follow settled architecture, and appropriately use SailPoint IQ functions.

Attend to both business and technical considerations such as security, performance, and redundancy when designing solutions.

Complete sophisticated development tasks, including creating/altering third-party integrations, changing the user interface, making record changes, conducing code reviews, writing custom scripts, and altering application packages to implement robust business logic.

Leverage technical expertise and relationships to drive IT strategies which help TriNet to meet business goals and demonstrate thought leadership.

Participate in peer and technical reviews to assist with management decisions.

Set quality standards and best practices to improve products and services.

Troubleshoot and find new perspectives/solutions to resolve complex development/integration issues.

Capture end user requirements and derive automated workflow solutions that streamline existing manual
business processes.

This position has no direct reports and no management discretion nor authority

Minimum requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or any related IT or Management field of study, plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) through which the required experience was gained.

In lieu of the above-stated primary education and experience requirements, the employer will accept a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or any related IT or Management field of study, plus at least five (5) years of post-degree, progressively responsible experience in any related position(s) through which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:

1. Java development
2. SailPoint IdentityIQ development
3. Authentication and directory services platforms
4. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using the following tools: Jira and ServiceNow
5. Demonstrated experience designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging software.

No travel required. Work from home (WFH) benefit available; must be able to attend meetings in the Austin, TX office, as required.
