Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Mechanical Engineer:

#1. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree.

#2. Minimum fifteen years’ experience.

#3. Experience in one or more of the following service areas: Chemical, Polymer, Refining, Utility.

#4. Engineering/specification of mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipment

#5. Pipe stress analysis/pipe support design

#6. Lead Engineer for projects

#7. Experience in consulting engineering is a plus.



Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:

Engineering/specification of mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipment
Pipe stress analysis/pipe support design
Lead Engineer for projects
Interfaces with other engineering disciplines and clients
Performs field work as needed.


Requirements of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree
A minimum fifteen years’ experience
Experience in some or all of the areas of engineering mentioned above
Professional Engineering license a plus

Hybrid-office / remote schedule
Authorizes a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, and educational background
Submits to a drug test post offer
Possesses a valid driver’s license
Accepts that this position may require some domestic overnight travel.
