Across Border Visa is an Immigration Consultancy business that provides a wide range of immigration services and is looking to fill 1 permanent full-time position for a Bookkeeper.

Bookkeeping Duties to be performed:

Recording financial transactions and balancing the books.
Post journal entries, and Update and maintain the general ledger.
Reconciliation of entries into the accounting systems
Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax, and other bills.
Recording of debits and credits.
Create and send invoices and follow up to get them paid.
Make sure invoices from suppliers are accurate and paid in a timely manner.

Additional Skills:

Good interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with other employees.
Good data entry skills
Familiarity with the general principles of accounting

We are offering $25.50/ hr. for 40 hours per week.

Location: Unit #206, 12888 80th Avenue Surrey BC V3W 3A8.

Job Requirements:
A secondary School Completion Certificate is required.

Completion of a college program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
Or
2 – 3 years experience in accounting.
