Gurkha Cigar Group seeks International Logistics/Communications Manager in Fort Lauderdale, FL to oversee and manage international logistics, transportation, and compliance. 60 months experience in a logistics, business operations/management, corporate, or similar role. BA in Communications, Business, English, Humanities, or similar req’d.

Job Duties:
Oversee international logistics, transportation, and compliance and manage all aspects of international transportation activities, initiatives and processes. Liaise and communicate with vendors and suppliers located around the world, particularly in Turkey, and demonstrate an understanding of the Turkish cigar market. Manage carrier relationships and performance in line with stated objectives and service level commitments and cultivate a network of business partners within the transportation and logistics industry. Provide guidance, oversight and direct supervision to the International Department. Plan, organize, direct, and monitor the daily activities of the International Department and provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the team. Ensure the ongoing development of team members to support current and future business needs while maintaining a highly
motivated team environment.
