Subway Restaurant is currently hiring for of Sandwich Artists
Position Title:
Sandwich Artist

Duration:
Permanent, Full-time, Part Time

Salary:
$16.75/hour for 40 hours a week. Overtime applicable after 40 hours.

Positions available: 3

Anticipated start date:
As soon as possible (at the latest in 3 months)

Job Responsibilities:
• Assemble and prepare sandwiches, salads, wraps etc as per Subway’s full menu
• Portion, assemble, and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to customers, and package take-out food
• Use equipment at the counter to prepare food items as per the Subway’s menu
• Greet customers, take customer orders, and upsell products
• Stock refrigerators and sandwich unit
• Ensure proper food safety and quality standards are maintained
• Ensure restaurant is clean and sanitized
• Handle customer complaints and inform supervisor or manager on duty
• Take payment from customers and serve customers at counters
• Complete all online training and in person training as required by Subway head office as well as Subway Corporate in a timely manner
• Provide superior customer service to enhance guest experience
• Keep restaurant clean by mopping, sweeping, cleaning washrooms, staff areas and customer areas
• Wash and sanitize all dishes and equipment
• Maintain proper hygiene by following local health authority regulations, clean uniforms, no piercings, no false nails, no nail paint, no jewelry including necklaces, earrings and bangles
• Keep records of the quantities of food used
