Minestar GP Ltd. is Western Canada's largest Indigenous construction, maintenance & turnaround contractor based out of Alberta. Minestar currently has 1 vacancy for the position of Environmental Engineer.

Location: Millet
Wage: $50.00 per hour
Work Schedule: 8 hours per day for 40 hours per week.
Start date: Starts as soon as possible.

The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

Job duties:

1. Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements.
2. Establish and monitor construction work schedules.
3. Interpret, review, and approve survey and civil design work.
4. Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for construction projects.
5. Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates.

Job Requirements

Language: English
Experience: 3-4 years of experience required
Education: A bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or civil Engineering focusing on environmental studies, Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related engineering field.
Skills: Team-Player, Efficient, attention to detail
