A well respected General Contractor is seeking a Project Manager to join their team as they begin to expand. This is a well-established, award winning company with a reputation of excellence.

The Project Manager will oversee the execution of commercial projects from inception to completion ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the defined quality standard.

Responsibilities:
  • Direct and oversee construction projects from conception to completion while monitoring compliance with safety and building regulations, including planning, scheduling, estimating, and budgeting.
  • Generates project estimates and budget.
  • Conducts project buyout and issues purchase orders and contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Participate in final owner contract negotiations to assure that scope of work, cost constraints, guarantees and schedules are clearly defined.
  • Meet project objectives, recognizing customer's needs and seek to satisfy the customer within the scope of contract.
  • Identify and resolve problems as early as possible to minimize adverse project impacts.
  • Prepare site progress reports (financial, progress, quality, changes etc.) to assure senior management is informed of overall status of project on regular basis.
  • Facilitate project close-out to ensure all obligations are met and agreed to.
  • Promotes and reinforces safety work practices in accordance with company or customer policies and governing regulations and standards at the work site.
Qualifications:
  • Engineering or Construction Management degree.
  • OSHA 30
  • Experience as Project Manager with broad experience in managing the works performing constructing, modifying, or erecting civil, mechanical or steel structures in an industrial setting.
  • Able to effectively communicate in written and verbal formats.
  • Highly developed problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, integrity and social/cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Efficient use of Microsoft office products and computer-based maintenance systems, including Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with Procore is preferred, but not necessary.
