Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough vendor risk assessments, evaluating third-party security risks and ensuring compliance with established security standards.
Implement robust security strategies aligned with industry best practices to mitigate potential cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Utilize Microsoft security technologies to design, configure, and monitor security solutions across the network and systems.
Utilize Crowdstrike and Rapid7 tools for threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Perform server configurations with a security-first mindset to ensure optimal protection against cyber threats.
Conduct regular security audits, identify security gaps, and recommend corrective measures to enhance the overall security posture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Monitor and analyze security incidents, investigating root causes and implementing preventative measures to mitigate future risks.
Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and vulnerabilities to proactively address emerging risks.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst with a focus on vendor risk assessment, security strategy implementation, and auditing.
Hands-on experience with Crowdstrike, Rapid7, or similar security tools for threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Proficiency in Microsoft security technologies (such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Windows Defender, etc.) and experience in configuring and maintaining these systems for security.
Strong understanding of server configurations with an emphasis on security best practices.
Experience conducting security audits, risk assessments, and developing mitigation strategies.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and their implications for security practices is preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISA, or GIAC are preferred.
