Job SummaryExperienced AWS DevOps Engineer for Growing Tech Company We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team at a fast-growing technology company. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the setup, management, and automation of our Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. This role requires strong command line experience with Linux, networking fundamentals, programming skills in languages such as Python or Java, and a proven ability to learn and apply new technologies through self-learning. Requirements 7+ years of experience in AWS DevOps Engineering Strong command line experience with Linux, including writing bash scripts Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Ruby, Java, or similar Experience with VPCs, ELBs, RDS, Cloudwatch, EC2, and Lambda Knowledge and experience with configuration management using tools like Terraform and Ansible Familiarity with Git for version control Open-source monitoring experience, preferably with Prometheus and Grafana Database administration experience with PostgreSQL or similar Experience in architecting highly-available distributed systems Strong understanding of AWS operations AWS certifications in Solutions Architect, Developer, SysOps Administrator, and DevOps Engineer ResponsibilitiesInfrastructure Setup and Management: Set up and manage Kubernetes clusters, including writing Dockerfiles and Helm templates Programmatically create and manage AWS infrastructure, utilizing Autoscaling Groups, Security Groups, Route53, S3, and IAM Continuous Integration And Deployment Set up and administer continuous integration processes Establish and maintain deployment pipelines for continuous deployment Enable the product development team to deliver new code daily through continuous integration and deployment pipelines Security And Availability Implement continuous security practices and monitoring to protect customer data Ensure high availability and resiliency of systems Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for mission-critical web systems Support And Collaboration Provide end-user support for the office, including creating and deleting software accounts and assisting with VPN setup Collaborate with the team to solve technical challenges and optimize workflows Join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our company as we build and scale our online presence using the latest AWS technologies in a fast-paced environment.
