Responsibilities: - Provide direct patient care, including individual and group counseling, to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders. - Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. - Implement evidence-based interventions and treatment modalities, such as motivational interviewing and mental health counseling. - Collect and analyze data to monitor patient progress and evaluate treatment effectiveness. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients. - Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and treatment options. - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including ICD-10 coding and documentation requirements. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling, Social Work). - Valid licensure or certification as a Behavioral Health Manager or similar role. - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders. - Knowledge of pediatric behavioral health practices and interventions. - Strong diagnostic evaluation skills and ability to develop appropriate treatment plans. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. - Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
