The Pump Technician 3, is responsible for assembly, disassembly and repair of pump equipment. The pump technician will operate the required tools, including micrometers for the assembly and disassembly of solids control equipment. The technician will work 6AM to 5PM Monday - Friday with overtime available. Prior experience working with Oilfield equipment is desired.

Requirements

-Installation, repair and maintenance of all S3S owned pump assets.

-Perform visual inspection of pump components to determine what actions are required

-Understand the working principles of differing pump technologies and applications.

-Ensure all maintenance/repair records are completed and properly filed

-Demonstrate the ability to work under minimal supervision.

-Performing various tests for pump performance verification: flowrate, pressure, rpm.

-Replace old or defective pump components with new ones (shafts, seals, rotors, etc.)

-Familiarity with mechanical transmission devices (V-Belts, QD bushing and sheaves, gearboxes)

-Installation, repair, and connection of the electrical motor components

-Perform upgrades of components or pump hardware

-Train new team members and work in collaboration with Shop, Electrical, and Engineering team members.

-Maintain a safe working environment and report any potential hazards
