We are currently seeking a Front Load Driver to join our team in the transportation/trucking/railroad industry.

As a Front Load Driver at FCC, you will play a critical role in our efforts to provide efficient waste collection services. Our ideal candidate will be a reliable individual with a commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and exceptional customer service skills. Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a front-end loading refuse truck to collect and transport solid waste and/or recyclables to landfill/disposal area.
• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order and report any issues to management.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections noting and explaining defects or discrepancies to management.
• Follow a designated route and ensure that all assigned customers are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate with dispatchers concerning delays or issues with a pick-up.
• Interact with customers and assist with the placement and removal of waste containers.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing duties in a manner that promotes a safe, constructive, and harmonious environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Commercial Driver's License with air brakes endorsement.
• Good driving record with no more than two moving violations within the past three years.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management, and other employees.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Available to work early morning and evening shifts as needed.
