We seek a Middleware Engineer to join our Enterprise Reporting program. The Enterprise Reporting program writes and maintains the BI and Reporting framework and live reports. These reports are used by customers and staff to gain information and insight from the underlying enterprise and lines of business data. Many teams are working on reporting modernization initiatives that will rewrite the reporting platform in Micro Strategy. In addition to modernizing the platform, teams are migrating reports to the new platform while also maintaining the legacy reports that customers use today.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Deploys, configures, and supports moderately complex third party applications (MicroStrategy/OBI/ODI)
- Object Oriented experience is preferred
- Previous experience with MicroStrategy a plus
- Experience with Reporting Tools (OBIEE / SSRS / MicroStrategy)
- Background with object oriented programming / scripting like Python
- Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL
- Knowledge of code management, SDLC and automated deployments
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Willing to learn and try new things
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Computer Science preferred
- Five years of experience in software development experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
