This will be a contract position for one of our Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation Clients. Job Title: Sr. Python Developer Duration: Contract through the end of the year Location: Hybrid Tuesday through Thursday in Mclean, VA. Description:The hiring team provides data analytics on software delivery primarily via Tableau dashboards. Daily responsibilities for this role may include back-end/ETL development, data normalization, data structure build-out, handling different data types, and maintaining and managing Tableau-driven dashboards. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or Engineering or equivalent experience; advanced studies and degree preferred- Solid experience as Python Developer Experience with Python frameworks e.g. Django, Flask.- Good experience on writing the test cases, Unit Testing, and automation test by using PYTEST Understanding of databases and SQL.- 5+ years of experience in developing applications using Python, Django technologies, preferably in Unix environment.- Hands-on experience on multiple technologies such as: Python & middleware (WebLogic, Apache, Spring Boot, etc.) technologies in UNIX environment and Scripting languages such as UNIX Shell- Build automation / CICD pipeline integration tools (Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, Artifactory, etc.)- Relational databases (Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)- Good communication skills. The incumbent will be responsible for interfacing and influencing with the business lines as well as others across IT.
