EDI Data/SQL Analyst Location: local candidates who can work hybrid Duration: 6 month contact to hire preferred Visa status: anything stable, USC and GC high preferred for C2H Role Description: In the role of EDI Data Intake Analyst (internally known as, EDI Data Intake Analyst I), you will be part of EDI Intake Team. You will work closely with Operations Team and Business Users. Your contributions of collaborating with external data providers to ensure the quality of incoming data, as well as resolving data issues while strategically trying to drive continuous improvement efforts to eliminate root causes. Your day-to-day responsibilities as EDI Data Intake Analyst will include: Protect the information assets of the company, including intellectual property, personally identifiable information, and protected health information, against unauthorized alteration and/or disclosure by appropriately handling and transmitting information in accordance with Enterprise Investigate and identify EDI data quality Address the root cause of data problems and develop a recommendation on how to resolve issues. Collaborate with data source stakeholders to implement resolution. Ensure integrity of data in database and warehouse for reporting and analytical Perform analysis of data sources with an emphasis on identifying critical data elements and developing data metrics and quality Responsible for testing, maintenance and troubleshooting data and system abnormalities. Some of the essentials skills required of you in this role are, Investigate, evaluate, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of current data requirements and processes and develop strategies for improving these Implement data quality monitoring reports, alerts, and Benchmark and improve data quality from all data sources Required Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of working experience in IT, EDI, Insurance or related field. Ability to query relational databases using standard SQL Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-starter who can take ownership of projects. Preferred Qualifications: Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
