Who Were Hiring:

The Invoicing and Receivables Analyst is responsible for managing our invoicing operations with precision and accuracy. You will review service agreements and contracts, ensuring that billing details, rates, and terms are correctly captured for each client. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will gather the necessary information to generate and distribute invoices promptly. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial in monitoring invoice status, tracking payments, and resolving any billing discrepancies or issues that may arise.

In addition to managing invoicing, you will play a vital role in payments and accounts receivable. You will implement effective strategies to collect outstanding payments, minimize accounts receivable, and improve cash flow. Your excellent communication skills will be put to use as you engage with clients, addressing their inquiries, resolving billing disputes, and proactively identifying potential risks or delinquent accounts. By analyzing client payment patterns, you will contribute to our financial forecasting and identify areas for improvement.

As an integral part of our Finance team, you will also assist in financial analysis and reporting. You will collaborate with your colleagues to prepare financial reports, perform month-end close activities, and support revenue recognition processes. Your analytical mindset and ability to generate insights from data will be instrumental in tracking performance metrics, identifying trends, and providing valuable recommendations to management.

Success in this position will require exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, creative problem solving, understanding of accounting and finance concepts, and the ability to manage many simultaneous projects and deadlines. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to build relationships across all stakeholders. This role will have autonomy to adjust procedures and processes to make them more efficient and better aligned to company goals.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and distribute accurate and timely invoices to clients, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Review service agreements and contracts to verify billing details, rates, and terms for each client.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary information for invoicing, such as completed services, time logs, and expenses.
  • Monitor and track invoice status to ensure timely payments and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
  • Maintain a comprehensive record of invoices, payment details, and client communications in the accounting system.
  • Implement effective payment collection strategies to minimize outstanding accounts receivable and improve cash flow.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to collect outstanding payments, resolve billing disputes, and answer queries.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Client Services teams to address client inquiries related to invoicing and payment receipt.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic reports on accounts receivable aging, cash collections, and outstanding balances.
  • Analyze client payment patterns and proactively identify potential risks or delinquent accounts.
  • Assist in financial reporting processes, including month-end close activities and revenue recognition.
  • Support the Finance team in preparing financial forecasts, budgeting, and variance analysis related to invoicing and payment receipt.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analytics to identify trends, track performance metrics, and provide actionable insights to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles, preferably in a fast-paced technology or healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, payment receipt, and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and financial risks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and compliance (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
