We are seeking a SQL and Data Warehouse Developer who have experience in designing and developing Microsoft SQL Server databases, data warehouses, and report writing to support our clients' needs. The data domains you will work with include IT assets, billing, and financial data. Five or more years experience in SQL Server development including SSIS and SSRS. Must be detail oriented. Experience SQL Server SSAS, ServiceNow and AWS a plus.
Objective:
As a SQL and Data Warehouse Developer, you will utilize your expertise in SQL Server development, including SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services), to ensure efficient data management and reporting solutions. You must have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of database architecture principles.
Required Skills:
Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases and data warehouses to store and manage large volumes of data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient database structures and schemas.
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to retrieve and manipulate data.
Create and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS for data integration from various sources into the data warehouse.
Develop reports and visualizations using SSRS to enable effective data analysis and reporting.
Monitor and fine-tune database performance to ensure optimal efficiency and scalability.
Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in SQL Server development and data warehousing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from external systems, such as ServiceNow and AWS, into the data warehouse (experience with these technologies is a plus).
Minimum of five years of experience in SQL Server development, including SSIS and SSRS.
Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and SQL optimization techniques.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) is desirable.
