Universal Marine Medical is seeking an experienced high-volume invoice processing specialist. This position will be located at our office at Staten Island. This person will support accounting team by assisting in accounts receivables / payables with general data entry, billing and recording transactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support duties related daily invoices for accounts payables / receivables.
- Process and post high-volume of invoices into ERP system.
- Communicate to vendors on the required ongoing information, respond to vendors questions.
- Scan and file invoices in relevant posted AP transactions.
- Other duties as assigned on excel related reports.
Requirements
Competencies: Candidate must have excel and data entry experience, good organization, and strong communication skills.
Education and/or Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in data entry/invoice processing.
Language Skills: Ability to read and write comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; Ability to effectively present information verbally in one-on-one and small group situations with management, and employees of the company.
Computer Skills: You must be comfortable with ERP, proficient in Excel, and have a general level of comfort with transaction flow.
Compensation & Hours: We offer a competitive salary with benefits commensurate with experience ($22 to $27 per hour). We are looking for someone who can work full-time in our office. This is not a work-from-home position. The range of duties will depend on the individual.
