As an Integrity Management Engineer, the successful candidate will work within our Risk and Integrity division, supporting clients in the management of their assets both offshore and onshore. The successful candidate will support the production of integrity management plans for operators to meet changing regulatory requirements, assess the integrity of operational assets by review of data and critical engineering analysis, suggest and propose remedial and preventative actions. The candidate will also play a pivotal role in the development and deployment of digital tools to support the effective management of operational infrastructure across the energy spectrum.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or other STEM field (Masters degree preferred) with 1 year relevant experience (MS) or 1 to 5 years relevant experience (BS).
  • Formal education or previous experience in oil and gas, offshore energy, chemicals manufacturing or nuclear industry, or similar background.
  • Must be inquisitive, proactive, a quick learner, and adaptive to changing energy landscapes and emerging technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; at ease in client-facing interactions.
  • Willingness to establish and grow a network of industry peers.
  • Support elements of task and project management, project execution, and proposal development.
  • Ability to develop accurate, concise reports and presentations, both with our internal organization and externally.


As an Integrity Management Engineer, our candidate should possess an interest in advancing their skills and competency in the role of Integrity Management including:

  • Masters or bachelors degree in engineering with a preferred degree or background in the areas of mechanical, chemical, petroleum, process, or environmental engineering,
  • Experience and/or interest in integrity management activities for oil and gas pipelines, petroleum assets, storage facilities, and other facility assets,
  • Execute elements of Integrity Management programs including engineering and design, data collection and analyses, risk assessments, and other activities conducted for the purpose of site surveillance, inspection, and monitoring activities,
  • Participate in the design and operational space to drive the process, in establishing conditions of safe operation, and identifying barriers and controls for the protection of the assets,
  • Works with vendors and service providers in coordinating bid packages, selection, evaluation, and award,
  • Establish a knowledge of US regulatory requirements and associated pipeline standards including 49 CFR 192 &195, ASME B31.8, B31.8S,
  • Provide engineering support for design calculations supporting flow dynamics, pressure rating and thermal hydraulic determinations,
  • Strong analytical skills and strong skills in managing and manipulating large data sets, including using various tools to align and analyze multiple sets of data,
  • Assist in trade studies and analyses to manage the process of defect/problem prioritization and to provide characterization and evaluation of anomalies,
  • Responsible for the provision of mechanical integrity, corrosion maintenance, inspection & maintenance activities, material properties and selection, and operations in support to the industry requirements,
  • Ability to work successfully both in project teams and one-on-one with operations, maintenance, and integrity personnel to identify issues and resolve operational concerns,
  • Experience/interest in data or graphic visualization, dashboarding, Power BI, and/or relevant methods for data communication,
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills and a competency with PCs and office computer software, including experience with excel formatting, mathematical formula, and macros, and
  • Must be a self-starter and motivated with the ability to perform effectively with minimal supervision.
