As a senior member of the Secmation software product development team, you will be responsible for contributing to our core products which extend the state-of-the-art in Defense and industrial cybersecurity technologies. In this hands-on, engineering role, you will explore cybersecurity of software defined communications using innovative techniques leveraging your communications engineering skills.

Secmation is not an IT company. We develop software solutions that implements advanced technologies to protect the next generation of autonomous, intelligent systems. Our software developers work in engineering teams to develop cybersecurity engineering tools, advanced simulation, self-driving vehicles, and protection of advanced AI/ML software.

This position is being offered as a full-time hybrid on-site position working in Raleigh, NC, Baltimore MD, Huntsville, AL, or San Antonio, TX offices. Compensation for this position includes competitive salary, full-benefits, and company equity.

Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering or similar

5+ years experience in software/firmware design and implementation of Software Defined Radios (SDR)

Proficient in the design, implementation, and analysis of SDR signal processing functions including adaptive tuning, optimization, and error correction

Proficient in using SDR design frameworks such as GNURadio or REDHAWK

Experience in C/C++ for embedded applications

Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment as part of a small team and execute complex development tasks with limited supervision.

Additional Requirements: U.S. citizenship required. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance due to contractual requirements.

Preferred Experience and Certifications:

MS in Electrical Engineering or similar

Experience in Electronic Warfare (EW) system design and applications

Proficient in FPGA design using Xilinx tools

Background in cybersecurity techniques including penetration testing

Existing security clearance
