RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking a Senior Splunk Engineer in Merrimack, NH.

Summary:
In this role, the Senior Splunk Engineer is responsible for Splunk administration including index management, configuration files, user and role access integrating external data inputs including Syslog, files, and REST API. The Senior Splunk Engineer will use Splunk best practices (apps, add-ons, searches, etc.) and configure data transformations - field extractions, execute, Regex, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience with Splunk administration including index management, configuration files, user and role access
* Familiar with integrating external data inputs including Syslog, files, and REST API
* Strong knowledge of Splunk best practices (apps, add-ons, searches, etc.)
* Previous experience building and maintaining Splunk components (indexer, forwarder, search head) is a plus
* Ability to create complex SPL queries, (look ups, joints, data models, comprising of statistical functions, etc.) is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
