Job Title: Microbiology Lab Technician - Quality Assurance Location: Maumelle, AR Duration: 12 months Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, or a related scientific discipline preferred One to three years of experience in a biologic laboratory setting or sanitarian role Proficient in Microsoft-based computer skills and data analysis software Knowledge of good laboratory practices and environmental monitoring Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and coordinate multiple projects Ability to follow procedural guidelines and record data accurately Ability to troubleshoot assay issues and assume additional technical responsibilities with little supervision Ability to work flexible work schedule, including overtime, holidays and weekends Responsibilities: Perform routine microbiological testing and analysis on baby wipes and wet wipes products and samples Report test results and communicate any out-of-specification findings Perform environmental monitoring and sampling of production materials, surfaces, air, water, etc. Conduct sanitization verifications and hygiene practices Receive and store laboratory inventory and make laboratory reagents and media Maintain laboratory equipment and instruments by scheduling calibration and overseeing repairs Comply with all safety and quality standards and policies Assist with microbiology method development, validation, and qualification as needed Assist with training new team members and updating standard operating procedures as needed
