Job Title : Salesforce Developer II with (Classic and Lightning)
Job Location : 100% Remote
Contract duration : 12+ months

Job Description:

The Application Developer II, Salesforce works with the SFDC dev team and business stakeholders of the various programs and projects in order to understand the business requirements to generate technical solutions within the Salesforce platform. This position will analyze, design, test and deploy net new architecture as well as implement changes to existing business processes and systems that are deployed within several Salesforce orgs throughout the enterprise. This role reports to the Salesforce Development Team manager. The position plays an important role in the Salesforce Development team. This job function fills multiple purposes, including both declarative and programmatic development as well as support and platform advocacy. This is a remote position, so individual initiative, work ethic, and an ability to perform job duties unsupervised are all important elements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science or related field required or equivalent experience
• At least 5 years of progressive experience within information technology with a minimum of 2 years working directly with the Salesforce platform
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Required Licensure and Certifications Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

• 2 - 5 years experience working with the Salesforce platform (Classic and Lightning)
• 2 - 5 years working in a complex IT environment
• Preferred experience in a Healthcare setting
• Fundamental programmatic development
• 0 -2 years developing in APEX, Java, JavaScript or Python
• Fundamental understanding of working with API (SOAP, Restful, other)
• Preferred additional Salesforce certifications
• Proficiency of understanding of MS Office suite with a focus on Excel
• Understanding of basic project management
• Focused self-management skills enabling a productive unsupervised / remote environment
• 2 -5 years experience in an Agile development environment
• 2 -5 years experience working within an established software development life cycle framework
