Contribute to the development and optimization of cutting-edge software solutions for intermodal transportation and logistics. Will be responsible for building robust, efficient, and scalable routing algorithms and software systems that support the Company’s technological goals for their highly technical product line. Specific duties include:

• Develop, maintain, and/or own moderately complex software engineering and development projects.
• Design and develop complex software codes independently, with minimal day-to-day guidance and support from tech leads/managers.
• Debug and solve advanced technical problems with regards to complex software issues.
• Collaborate with senior software engineers and software managers to advance the team’s software development and engineering goals.
• Scope feature-level updates for technical software engineering projects with minimal supervision.

May telecommute 40% of the workweek from any U.S. location.
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.
The experience and education requirements are:
One (1) year of software engineering and development experience. Experience must include the following (may be gained concurrently):

• One (1) year of experience designing and developing complex software codes;
• One (1) year of experience testing software for any technical issues;
• One (1) year of experience utilizing C++, Spring Book, JavaScript, and SQL;
• One (1) year of experience utilizing Kubernetes, Maven, and AWS Cloud services;
• Demonstrated knowledge of routing algorithms, data structures, DevOps, and software development best practices.
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems Management, or directly related quantitative field.
