Sr. Project Engineer Location: US-CO-Englewood - 80112 Email Job

Provide support to the Project Manager and Superintendent in the management and execution of assigned contracts through all phases of construction including planning/project startup, construction, and post construction/ project closeout. Will work from field office(s) and on construction sites. $8825.00-$93825.00 per year.
Duties:
• Assisting with preparation of Pre-Activity and project startup meetings including Project Handoff Meeting with Estimating Department, Pre-Construction Meeting with Owner, and Pre-Construction Meeting with Unions.
• Distributing and maintaining Project Plans, Specifications, Standard Plans, Job Special Provisions, Phase Listing, Direct Cost Reports, Plan Revisions, etc.
• Building Daily and/or Weekly Project Schedule and distributing to all required parties.
• Assisting with initial development and monthly update of CPM Schedule.
• Assisting Superintendent and Foremen with day-to-day tasks including material procurement, daily project scheduling, survey/layout, etc.
• Coordinating with subcontractors, material suppliers, and vendors as needed to meet project schedule requirements.
• Coordinating with Owner/ Owner’s representative, Inspectors, QC/QA personnel, etc. to schedule testing and/or inspection of work.
• Coordinating with MW Operations Managers including Survey, Quality Control, Structures, Concrete, Transportation, etc. as needed.
• Preparing and submitting RFI’s and Submittals to owner or engineer of record.
• Assisting with project closeout/ final completion tasks including punch-list, final plans, certs, final quantities/ change orders, etc.
• Travel to client(project) sites within 2-hour driving distance: approximately 2 days/month(10%).
Requires:
• BS, Civil Engineering with focus on Construction / Engineering Management + 2 years’ Civil Engineering (Heavy Construction) experience OR MS Civil Engineering with focus on Construction / Engineering Management + 1 year Civil Engineering (Heavy Construction) experience
• Completion of OSHA 10-Hour or 30-hour Construction Course. Strong proficiency using MS-Project, HCSS HeavyJob or HeavyBid, and Primavera P6.
