Job Overview:
The Lab Technician will assist the Senior Microbiologist in supporting the biocide product line for the MPP (Material Protection Products) business unit in the US and Canada. The role involves preparing materials for testing, conducting microbiological evaluations, and ensuring the efficacy of biocides. Additional tasks include maintaining the lab and its equipment, as well as managing lab supplies.

Responsibilities:
Assist in technical support for biocide product line
Prepare materials for testing (agar plates, weighing samples, etc.)
Conduct microbiological evaluations and determine biocide efficacy
Clean and maintain laboratory equipment
Coordinate purchase of necessary lab supplies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education:
Background in Microbiology or Chemistry (e.g., Lab Technician or Bachelor's in relevant fields)
High School Diploma with over 1 year of relevant lab experience
Experience:
Prior experience in a microbiological or chemical lab setting
