Job Description:

Qualifications/Certifications:

Level II certification in Radiographic Testing as per ASNT SNT-TC-1A, 2001 Edition or later.
Certification of IRRSP from an approved entity.
Passed written general theory, procedure-specific, and practical exams for RT inspection of piping, casting, and structural welds.
Documentation of certification for the current and preceding 3-year period, including training and experience records, examination results, and vision tests.
Evidence of inspections performed in the applicable method(s) within the past 9 months.
Visual acuity exam using Jaeger 1 letters at a distance of no less than 12 inches within the last year.
Job Duties:

Perform RT inspections on piping, casting, and structural welds in a shop/ship environment.
Inspectors must be able to lift 50 lbs., climb vertical ladders, crawl in tanks and confined spaces, and work at heights.
Additional general, specific, and practical exams may be administered to prove proficiency.
Work Environment:

Some climbing and crawling required.
Work shifts include 0600-1430 M-F, 0500-1330 Sat-Sun, with optional up to 12-hour days based on supervisor discretion.
Safety and Equipment Requirements:

Employees must complete safety training and medical clearances prior to assignment.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided must meet OSHA and ANSI standards and/or project specifications.
