SUMMARY:

Repair, install, and maintain electrical and mechanical components of machinery, including engines, motors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and machine controls.
Available 24/7 for emergencies such as machine breakdowns, power outages, and weather-related issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Comply with health and safety standards.
Utilize basic computer skills for email, word processing, and documentation.
Assist with small projects as a team member, installer, and fabricator.
Complete assigned preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Specify, configure, and install direct replacement electrical and mechanical components.
Understand basic electrical and mechanical principles, including power systems and motion control.
Design and install control circuits and understand control systems like PLC, HMI, PCNC, and SCADA.
Diagnose and install mechanical components such as pumps, valves, and regulators.
OTHER DUTIES:

Follow safety policies and report unsafe activities.
Participate in team efforts to achieve goals and contribute to a positive team environment.
Communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Protect confidential information and maintain honesty and integrity.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION:

Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school, or at least three years of related experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents and present information effectively.
Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic and data interpretation.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to instructions and problem-solving.
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with email, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, bend, talk, and hear. Frequently lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment: May involve exposure to toxic chemicals and loud environments. Required to use personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, goggles, hearing, and fall protection).
