Responsibilities:

Scheduled Maintenance and Inspections: Perform regular maintenance on aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues.
Repairs and Replacements: Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to repair or replace defective components.
Welding and Soldering: Weld and solder aircraft parts as needed.
Sheet Metal Work: Conduct repairs and fabrications using sheet metal.
Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Team Coordination: Work closely with other mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Quality Control: Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets safety standards.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Aircraft Mechanic
Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics systems
Experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
