SUMMARY



Provides support to Compliance Officer through thorough research, reporting and responses relating to consumer correspondence and communication. Additional responsibilities will include support for regulatory compliance requirements.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities:




Reviews verbal and written complaints by consumers and/or by clients

Investigates, analyses and categorizes complaints and lawsuits by client and internal guidelines

Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all client required complaint/lawsuit reporting.

Responsible for timely and accurate completion of investigation and response to third parties, including regulatory agencies and the Better Business Bureau.

Assist Compliance Officer with maintenance of regulatory filings, legal research, contract review and insurance requirements.

Handles confidential information

Additional duties or ad hoc projects as needed







Preferred Skills and Qualifications:




1-2 years in legal administrative setting or equivalent experience

Knowledge of the FDCPA, TCPA, FCRA and UDAAP regulations

Experience drafting correspondence, documents, and research memos

Strong PC skills Must have experience using Word, Excel, Microsoft Access and Internet.

Strong grammar and written communication

Excellent research abilities and analytical skills

Detail oriented

Ability to prioritize work assignments and to meet multiple deadlines

Focused and organized

Ability to multi-task

Commitment to maintain confidentiality at all times
