JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES NOT LIMITED TO:

Schedule, coordinate and supervise the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.
Create work schedules and procedures for staff members.
Maintenance of records of inventory, stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
Training staff in their respective job duties, and sanitation and complying with safety procedures.
Supervision and checking of assembly special diet trays and delivery of food trolleys to institutions like Canteens and hospitals.
Ensure that the food being served, and services provided meet quality control standards of Ontario / Canada.
Estimation and ordering of ingredients and supplies required for various menu items preparation.
Preparation of food order summaries for chef according to requests from other professionals and other specific offices.
Participation in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and monthly, quarterly and annual budgets, sales and balance sheet.
Planning of cafe menus and correct identification of food being served, and labour costs involved.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION (INCLUDING EDUCATION AND WORK
EXPERIENCE)

1. Completion of secondary school is required.
2. Job requires prolonged standing, handling material manually, walking and running around.
3. A university degree or college diploma in relevant discipline will be preferred.
4. Minimum working experience of 1 2 years in the preceding years before applying for this
job.
5. Ability to multi-task, remain cool and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
6. Flexible to work evenings and weekends and holidays.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: PERMANENT, FULL TIME AND NON-SEASONAL

Hours per week: 30
Working schedule (regular Monday Friday or per need basis): additional hours of
workload may be required as per the requirement by the office. Normal Workday will
be either of the shifts from 10am to 6 pm or 2pm 10 pm
Language of work: English, working knowledge of any other additional languages will be an

Wage: $44382/year salary, $ 28.45 hourly
